Lazy Day....

Todays blog will not be overly exciting, Alvo did not get up until after 10am and after putting on some washing we walked down to the end of our street for some brunch. We settled on curry of course and planned our day. We decided that we would like to go back to the market for dinner tonight so will have a lazy day at home watching movies and sharing a couple of bevvies. It rained on and off a little today and we needed our ponchos on when we headed off for dinner. We have not used them for ages so it was no surprise they smelled like dirty mouldy socks when we opened them up....gross, but we did put them on and embarked on the journey to the market. We found our way and Alvo stopped at the underwears stall to get more comfy underwears and the next stop was the food area. We started again with delicious fish cakes and then sat and had some sort of curry with numerous condiments I have no idea what they were but tried most of them. We found some fermented pork that Alvo was hesitant to try but oh what the hell....lucky we did coz it was delicious so I ordered some more accompanied by...of course...sticky rice. We visited the sweets stall for some take aways for later and Alvo could not go past the cool ice cream stall from last night. The girls of course recognised us and were on for a chat. Tonight Alvo did the making of the ice cream and I took the video. On the way out we got some pork sticks and fish cakes for snacks later and yet again...more underwears, Alvo may have a slight obsession that I will keep an eye on lol. Easy ride home for a shower and a cuppa. Tanya xxx.
