Friends Both Old and New....

We headed off to the dentist this morning and I needed 8 fillings which I had done with no needles, the dentist was right when she said it would only feel sensitive and not too painful. She also cleaned my teeth and my broken tooth feels like new. Total cost $320. Alvo needed 2 fillings and a clean so she was done in no time. Of course our card did not work in the machine at the dentist so we made a trip to the bank in Patong before returning to pay and heading for some lunch, we didn't have breakfast due to the dentist and Alvo was dubious to have anything earlier due to belly pains. We found a local restaurant and were again not disappointed.....we are getting good at picking the good ones. We made our way to Kathu where we met Helen, a friend we met who was working at the hospital where Alvo had her operation here. She and some friends were having a get together so we met some more new friends today, one of which I recognised and worked out that we went to primary school together....weird huh. She is also the best friend of a guy we worked with in Alice Springs who's brother I went to infants school with and later worked with in Tamworth, small world I tell you. We ended the night with some dinner at a little bar round the corner from Helen's friends place and a night cap at another friends house....we are getting around I tell you. We made the 30 minute trip back to Kamala and now it is time to rest and hope that Alvo has no more squitty bum tomorrow. Tanya xxx
